An apartment for two on the second floor, with its own balcony facing the rooftops of Karlovy Vary and the wooded slopes above the town. Its 26 m² hold a bedroom with a large double bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a quiet broken only by birds on the hillside.
The Vřídlo apartment is on the second floor, and its greatest asset is the balcony. Open the door and below you lie the roofs of the spa quarter, and above them the wooded slopes that frame Karlovy Vary on every side. The view shifts with the light through the day; in the evening it is the forest rather than the street that you hear.
Across twenty-six square metres there is a separate bedroom with a large double bed and a living area with a dining table. The kitchen covers everyday cooking and dinner for two: dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and coffee machine, with crockery in the cupboards. The bathroom has a shower and a WC. There is a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, heating, a wardrobe, bed linen and towels, toiletries and a socket by the bed. The apartment is for two; extra beds are not offered.
From Petřín Street the walk down into the spa centre is downhill all the way. The Mill Colonnade is about five minutes away; the Vřídlo hot spring the apartment is named after, and the Market Colonnade, are roughly 500 metres. The Imperial stop is 250–350 m, and dinner at Staročeská restaurace is a hundred metres away. Stairs lead to the second floor and there is no lift in the building — bear that in mind if you are travelling with heavy luggage or have limited mobility. Keys are collected from a coded key box; you can arrive between 15:00 and midnight, departure is by 10:00. A garage space is CZK 500 a night, booked separately online or by phone; the private car park can be arranged in advance. A dog may stay for a fee, and the apartment is non-smoking.
This apartment is on an upper floor reached by stairs. There is no lift in the building.
