About the apartment
A forest path above the town leads to the Deer Spring — and a similar calm is to be found here, on the balcony of this second-floor apartment. Its 40 m² hold two separate bedrooms for four guests and a view over rooftops and trees.
The balcony faces the roofs of the spa quarter and, beyond them, the wooded slopes where the walking paths disappear. On the second floor the town reaches you only faintly, and the little table by the railing is a place to sit and look after a day on your feet.
Forty square metres divide into two separate bedrooms and a living area. One holds a large double bed, the other two singles — the children get their room and you get yours. The bathroom has a shower. The kitchen handles everyday cooking and baking alike: oven, dishwasher, hob and coffee machine are all to hand, with crockery in the cupboards. All four of you fit around the dining table. There is a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi, heating, a wardrobe, bed linen and towels. The apartment sleeps a maximum of four guests and extra beds are not offered; a cot can be prepared on request, subject to availability.
Petřín Street lies above the spa centre of Karlovy Vary. The Mill Colonnade is about five minutes away, the Vřídlo hot spring and Market Colonnade 500 metres. The Imperial stop is 250 to 350 metres, the Divadelní náměstí stop 400 metres. For lunch it is a hundred metres down to Staročeská restaurace; for a longer walk, take the forest path to the Deer Spring, 1.1 km from here. A garage space costs CZK 500 a night and is booked separately, online or by phone, with payment on arrival; the private car park can be arranged in advance. Keys are collected from a coded key box. Arrival is between 15:00 and midnight, departure by 10:00. Stairs lead to the second floor and there is no lift — bear that in mind if you are travelling with a pushchair or have limited mobility. A dog is welcome for a fee, and the house is non-smoking.
